iOS-inspired Samsung One UI 7.0 is on its way
Samsung is expected to start beta testing One UI 7.0 towards the end of the year. Leaks emerging on the internet give some clues about how the revamped interface will look like. According to this, Samsung seems to be inspired by iOS 18.
Images published on Twitter revealed One UI 7.0 with the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. Accordingly, Samsung seems to have completely redesigned the Quick Settings panel. The revamped Quick Settings bears some similarities with the iOS Control Center.
Notification and settings sections are separated and app icons have rounded corners. Transparency effects have also been applied to some elements for a more minimalist look. The volume, brightness and music widgets are also uniformly sized on the dashboard.
Of course, Samsung will also overhaul other sections such as the home screen, settings, camera and system-wide animations and icons.
According to the statements made, the Android 15-based One UI 7 update will be announced with the Galaxy S25 series to be introduced in the new year, unlike the updates released early in previous years. The update, which is expected to be released with the flagship devices expected to be introduced in January, may take a long time to come to older phones.
